HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR CORK
Cork is naturally durable, lightweight and easy to maintain. With a little care, your cork products can stay clean, fresh and looking great for longer.
REGULAR CLEANING
After use, wipe the cork surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove sweat, dust and dirt.
For a deeper clean, use warm water with a small amount of mild soap. Gently wipe the surface rather than soaking it.
KEEP IT NATURAL
Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol-based cleaners and abrasive cleaning products. These can dry out or damage the natural cork surface over time.
Simple is best — mild soap and water is usually all you need.
LET IT DRY
Always allow cork to air dry completely before storing it.
Keep it in a well-ventilated area and avoid putting it away while it is still damp.
Do not use heaters, hair dryers or other direct heat sources to speed up drying.
AVOID SOAKING
Cork handles everyday moisture well, but it shouldn't be submerged or left soaking in water.
If it gets particularly wet, wipe away excess moisture and allow it to dry naturally.
STORE IT RIGHT
Store your cork products somewhere cool and dry, away from prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat and damp environments.
Avoid leaving heavy or sharp objects resting against cork for extended periods, as they may leave marks or indentations.
EMBRACE THE NATURAL LOOK
Cork is a natural material, so small variations in colour, texture and grain are completely normal.
With regular use, the appearance may gradually change and develop its own character. That's part of what makes natural cork unique.
